Earlier this week, the former couple was spotted reuniting for the first time following their separation in June.
Representatives for both Spelling and McDermott did not immediately respond to PEOPLE’s request for comment.

McDermottannounced his split from Spellingafter 18 years of marriage in an Instagram post, citing that the pair “have decided to go our separate ways.” He deleted the post shortly afterward.
“We will continue to work together as loving parents and guide and love our children through this difficult time,” he wrote at the time. “We ask that you all respect our privacy as we take this time to surround our family with love and work our way through this. Thank you all for your support and kindness. 🙏.”
Later in November, McDermott backtracked on his approach to revealing the split, tellingThe Daily Mailit “wasn’t the right way.”

“I posted that because I was at the end of my rope,” he told the outlet, adding, “I was so full of shame and it was such a horrible idea. And then my kids were really, really hurt.”
According to McDermott, Spellingwas left “totally caught off guard”and “traumatized” along with theirfive childrenover his statement.
After announcing the separation, McDermott entered asober living homelast year, and he honored his 57th birthday with apost celebrating his sobriety.

McDermott and Spelling tied the knot on May 7, 2006, and renewed their vows on May 8, 2010. They share five children: daughtersStella Doreen, 15, Hattie Margaret, 12, and sonsLiam Aaron, 16,Finn Davey, 11, andBeau Dean, 6.
The recent sighting between the former couple took place after Spelling celebrated Valentine’s Day with their youngest child last month.
“Love is … just getting them to look at the camera 1 time ❤️,” the actress captioned a snap shared on her Instagram Story.
