A record number of people tuned in to watchSuper BowlLVIII on Sunday.

An average of 123.4 million viewers saw theKansas City Chiefs beat the San Francisco 49ers 25-22after theNFLteams faced off at Allegiant Stadium in Las Vegas, according to initial CBS figures based on Nielsen Fast National data and Adobe Analytics.

This included 112 million viewers who watched the Chiefs' big win on CBS Sports, marking the largest audience in history for a single network, according to a CBS release. At the same time, Super Bowl LVIII was also the most-streamed Super Bowl in history.

The Final Nielsen data will be released on Tuesday and include figures taken across all platforms, including the CBS Television Network, Paramount+, Nickelodeon, Univision, CBS Sports, Univision, and NFL digital properties such as NFL+.
