Snoop Dogg Pays Tribute to Late Half Brother at Funeral

Inthe post, Snoop Dogg (whose real name is Calvin Broadus Jr.) could be seen standing alongside Worthington’s casket with other members of the funeral party wearing an all red suit with a matching red hat and dark sunglasses. He appeared to look solemnly above the casket as his family members beside him bowed their heads.

“Everlastin love Beverly’s boys. Dirty left bing and snoopy 🔥🌹🕊️,” he captioned the post. “@badabing33miss that laugh and the way u made us smile keep mama company till we get there 🕊️✌🏾.”

The post comes a few days after the “Drop It Like Its Hot” rapper alluded to Worthington’s death on social media alongside a photo posing next to his late younger brother and the caption, “@badabing33 😢😔🕊️🙏🏾.”

He later elaborated more inanother videofeaturing footage of the siblings, their older brother Jerry Wesley Carter and others standing in a cemetery.

“@badabing33 always made us laugh 💙🙏🏾😢 u bac with moms,” Snoop wrote in the caption, referring to their late mother,Beverly Tate, whodied at age 70in October 2021.

Worthington worked alongside his brother in the music industry for many years starting as a roadie for the rapper, according to a 2016 Vice interview. He eventually became his tour manager and even co-wrote the song “Be Thankful,” which appeared on the 2000 debut album for Snoop’s rap group The Eastsidaz.

With his brother, he went on to create business ventures such as Snoop Dogg Skateboards, though he also took on many solo opportunities as well. He became part of the rap duo Lifestyle and headed up the Canadian record labelDogg Recordsas an executive producer, according toBillboard.

Amid Worthington’s death, Snoop Dogg has also been dealing with a recent health scare in his family after his 24-year-old daughterCori Broadus, whom he shares with wifeShante Broadus, suffereda “severe” strokelast month.
