Scheana Shay, husbandBrock Daviesand Madix’s brother Jeremy cheered for the reality star alongside her new loveDaniel Waiduring the ABC dance competition’s season premiere on Monday.
Shay, 38, also showed her support of Madix on her Instagram Story while sharing behind-the-scenes moments from the show.

“She crushed it!” she wrote, also captioning a selfie of her and Davies with the rallying cry: “Team Ariana and Pasha!!!”

Madix’sex-boyfriendTom Sandovalpreviously promises he would support her from afar.
“I’ll be doing both, voting and watching. I’m really, I’m really excited for her,” he toldEntertainment Tonightearlier this month after Madix joined theseason 32 cast. “I know she has been wanting to do this show for years. I think she’s going to do great. She’s a really hard worker. I think she’ll go far, hopefully.”
However, Madix, 38, made it clear that she was ready to move on on the season premiere seven months after#Scandovalbroke.

Before her performance, Madix shared, “My life has been a roller coaster in the last year. You probably know me from VPR. My partner of 9 years and one of my best girlfriends were having an affair for 9 years. And everyone got to watch it all play out and my life blow up on television.”

“But this scandal does not define me. So now I just want to do something for me, that’s fun and positive,” she added. “It’s time for me to just stand on my own two feet.”

Madix — dressed in a red outfit reminiscent of herfamous “revenge dress”— then took to the dance floor to perform a sexy tango toHailee Steinfeld’s “Love Myself” with partnerPasha Pashkov.
The television personality waspraised for the performancewith judgeDerek Houghsaying, “Ariana that was fantastic! The power. That was killer.”
Carrie Ann Inabaadded, “As a woman, cheaters suck, but you just showed anybody who is watching how you handle a cheater!”
It shouldn’t come as a surprise toVPRfans that Madix scored 21 out of 30 on night one of the competition. She previouslyshowed off her dancing skillsall the way back to season 1 in 2013, when she was a backup performer for Shay during one of her first live performances as a musician.

Dancing with the Starsairs on Tuesdays at 8 p.m. ET on ABC and will stream on Disney+ and Hulu.
