Lydia Hearstisn’t a mom herself yet, but she’s already championing the normalization of breastfeeding.

“I find it appalling that anyone would sexualize or look down upon one of the most natural and beautiful things a woman can do, which is to feed, nurture and love a child,” mused Hearst, 34. “No woman should be shamed for this. Societyhas sexualized breasts and anyone‘s resentment and disappointment toward this act is nothing more than their own projection of self-disgust.”

Hearst went on to say, “I respect everyone’s right to have an opinion, but I do not agree with the hate andshame cast [upon] any woman for breastfeeding.”

Putting to rest any speculation that she and husbandChris Hardwickmay have welcomed twins under the radar, Hearst wrote, “For the record, the infants here are dolls.”

“But that does not detract from the message of the importance of commitmentand to normalize breast feeding,” theZ Nationstar clarified.

Standing up for her beliefs while speaking out about theemotional and sexual abuse allegationssurrounding Hardwick, 47, Hearst previously told PEOPLE in an exclusive statement, “This is not a statement in defense, this is a statement of defense.”

Hearst concluded, “I will not do that. Chris Hardwick is a good man. I remainin complete support of my husband, and I believe that the truth will always win. #TimesUp because I know my truth and I believe in due process.”
