Guests could feel the tension atJordyn Woods' first public appearance sinceallegedly getting intimatewithKhloé Kardashian’s boyfriend,Tristan Thompson.
The 21-year-old model addressed the crowd during the launch event for herEylure X Jordyn Woods Lashesin Los Angeles, but multiple attendees tell PEOPLE that tension was in the air and Woods didn’t seem like herself.
“It was a pretty weird vibe overall. Jordyn wasn’t there for very long at all, just a quick appearance,” lifestyle and beauty bloggerLauren King, who attended the launch, tells PEOPLE exclusively.

Though King says Woods was “professional” the entire time, she adds, “I wouldn’t say she seemed happy or lighthearted at all.”
Beauty and lifestyle bloggerJade Simmone, another guest at the Eylure launch party, could sense the model’s somber mood.
“She seemed really depressed,” Simmone tells PEOPLE exclusively. “She seemed kind of down and kind of sad. Even her speech you can barely hear what she is saying, like she wasn’t feeling it.”
Woods' solemn mood was noticeably different from her usual bubbly behavior. Simmone previously attended the launch of the model’s 2016 collaboration with Boohoo, where Woods acted much more upbeat.
“She was more lively. She was more happy. She was engaging. She was posting and sharing behind-the-scenes [on social media] and taking selfies,” Simmone tells us. “For this, I feel like she was more there because she had to be.”
The blogger adds, “I think what is going on is really sinking in now because I think she is really not used to not having Kylie there to support and encourage her and root her on. I think she really felt it last night.”
During Woods' short speech at the event, she said: “Thank you guys for coming out and supporting me through everything that’s going on. It’s been real, and Eylure has been super real with a project I’ve been working on for over nine months right now.”
On Tuesday,TMZandHollywood Unlockedfirst reported that Kardashian, 34, and Thompson, 27, had split after he was unfaithful with Woods.

“The whole family is furious. They were blindsided,” asource told PEOPLE, while another insider said the family is “beyond angry and disgusted.”
“It’s been a difficult time andshe’s broken up about it,” one insider divulged of Woods on Wednesday. “She’s heading home to be with her mom.”

The betrayal has been hitting Jenner, who has been best friends with Woods since eighth grade,especially hard.
“For Kylie, it’s much more difficult. She has basically lost part of her world,” the source told us. “She is very, very upset. She always trusted Jordyn with everything.”
“Kylie just can’t make sense of what happened,” the source added. “She still has so many questions for Jordyn. Who knows when Kylie will get over this.”
