Heidi Klumknows exactly what she’s working with.

Yes, you guessed it — she’s talking about her breasts.

Heidi Klum

Klum, 50, reaches for all manner of figure-flattering looks, from the red number she wore this week — complete with a thigh-high slit — to a ’90s-inspired floral tube dress she wore earlier this month. No matter what she picks, though, you can be sure that it’ll show off her figure.

Beyond just the fit, though, Klum said that she wants her looks forAGTto have some visual interest, whether it’s a pattern, shine or something else that will keep all eyes on her.

“It’s usually sequins or something with a great texture,” she said. “I love big earrings or doing different things with my hair. Sofía [Vergara, her co-judge] and I have a good beauty and fashion thing going. Last week she was in yellow, and I was in red and people made ketchup and mustard memes.”

Her style may have evolved over the years as her career has progressed, but Klum told PEOPLE StyleWatch that one thing remains the same: She likes to dress each day in a way that makes herfeel.

“I want to dress however my mood is that day,” she said, adding that her style, while bold, bright and fun, is also a bit all over the place — in a good way.

Klum shared that she likes to be boho sometimes, but she also loves to reach for a miniskirt. Some days she wants to lean into a hip-hop vibe, while others she likes to be a cowgirl. In the end, she’s going to choose whatever feels right when she opens her closet.

And that closet is very large — and she’s not quick to get rid of very much these days.

Growing up with very little is a large part of why Klum said she likes to keep things around, even going so far as jokingly calling herself a “hoarder.”

“I have a really hard time throwing things away, because I know I’m going to wear this again at some point, and I do.”
