This is from one of the more recent incarnations of the post - nuclear apocalyptic setting . conceive of a world that ’s a little minute Logan ’s Run , a footling bit Fallout , and that ’s middling much Gamma World . This is perhaps the most bizarre manual on this listing , as it document all manner of weird golem and freakish mutants . No , I think of really freakish . Sentient , malevolent penguin . Genetically mastermind fireproof bears . irrupt Pisces . My personal ducky is the Architect , a robot that ’s been continually building for decades , creating non - sensical road meshwork dotted with houses that will stay on perpetually empty . Also , there are Isle of Man - eating cars .
