The first full dig of the newfangled Jem and the Holograms film give us a good look at the fiber ’ newfangled costumes . There ’s a lot of studs and rhinestones , but are they really bright enough ?
We ’ve been a little worried that this project was lacking the full - on eighties inner circle we really want , and these young photograph seem to total to that fear . We do get that this was go to be a updated version of the news report , but there is just a bit too much black and too little pilus to get us really activated . Shana ( Aurora Perrineau ) looks the best , and Kimba ( Stefanie Scott ) the worst .
The other shots are below . We will grant them this : plaid - don Jerrica ( Aubrey Peeples ) does seem very unlike from Jem , so the secluded indistinguishability thing does fly .
