It ’s hard to socialise when you ’re a Boogeyman because all you desire to do is shroud under beds and growl . That ’s why artistNemo Gouldhas created this Portable Gloom Environment .
Boogeyman is one of a newfangled serial of kinetic carving from automaton creative person Gould . He builds poignant , playful creatures out of scraps he observe in junkyard and curtilage sales .

The Boogeyman is a tragically misunderstood lineament . by and large hated by the populace he do , he work long thankless hours under bed and in press . Just like the rest of us he hanker for a little time off to enjoy lifetime . Traditional rest and relaxation has alway sidestep him however due to his extreme sensitiveness to light and expert humor . fortuitously for him , scientific discipline has becharm up with him in the form of a “ Portable Gloom Environment ” . This bulky apparatus may seem cumbersome to you and I , but it for him it is the welcome price of freedom . So if you should encounter this odd spectacle at the beach , show a niggling sensibility to a monster on a well earned vacation . ( Yes those are material volaille foot )

I specially like Gould ’s description of the deer sculpture “ Re - Animated , ” which includes a phantasy about recreate animals by converting them into cyborgs . He writes :
A few years ago I came across something at a pace sale that hit me as particularly dirty . It was a mounted deer head with its hoofs arranged to serve as a rifle stand . The cruel sarcasm of killing something and then oblige its clay to go for the weapon that ended its living really got me . course I bought the awful thing but only now have I been able to do anything with it .
