“Because you and A-Rod just celebrated your two-year anniversary… This is a clock, and it’s basically to remind him that time is ticking and he should hurry up and propose,” DeGeneres said. “Or you should propose.”

“This could conveniently work as a reflector as well. Congrats!” model Nina Agdal joked of Lopez’s new bling.
The ring caught lots of attention on social media, with many joking that its size would blind the average person.
“There’s a reason ARod andJennifer Lopezhad their engagement photo in the shade……That size of a ring would be bright in the light, and we’d scroll and have this reaction with the photo being posted everywhere,” wrote one person.
The couple have been dating since February 2017, and a source told PEOPLE Rodriguez popped the question during a getaway in the Bahamas.
Benny Medina, Lopez’s long-time manager, also confirmed the news, while Rodriguez’s rep Ron Berkowitz toldPEOPLE, “They are on vacation and got engaged today.”
“I understand him in a way that I don’t think anyone else could and he understands me in a way that no one else could ever,” Lopez said inVanity Fair‘s December 2017 cover story. “We put so much pressure on ourselves to be great, to be the best all the time. We understood that about each other. When we came together it was, ‘Oh my God, I was the same way.’”
