And not because of being busy with his post - Potter career , or because it might deliver a version of Harry ’s future that does n’t tally up with the one he imagined while portraying the eccentric . It ’s a applaudable reason — citizenry pay vast amounts of money for ticket to see Cursed Child , and all the hubbub of crowd trying to get a look at Radcliffe and how he react to the events of the play would n’t just be riotous to his own view of the story , but the audience at large . Even if that hearing at with child would be a bunch of Potter buff mentally ( or maybe actually ) jump for joy at the thought they get to watch a Harry Potter manoeuvre with Harry himself alongside them . He ’d be woeful , they ’d be miserable , and well , no one really wants that . And so Radcliffe is felicitous to sacrifice his own chance to see it , so that Potter fans can delight it on their own full term .
