Chris Rock’sSpiralSpins and Gets aSaw XSequel

I wo n’t rest . When I pick up the Saw serial publication was being rebooted , I was n’t emotional . From 2004 - 2010 , these films dominated the horror genre . James Wan directed the first picture show and had no clue his lowly little film would become ionic . Unfortunately , as the flick build in number , the fib and quality decrease . The last two movies ( see : The last Chapter and Jigsaw ) are abominations , so when I hear the series was taking a remainder , I was relieved . However , when readingChris Rockand Samuel Jackson were postulate in this revitalisation , Spiral : From the Book of Saw , my involvement peak once again .

According to Production Weekly ( viaBloody Disgusting ) , before anyone has even seen this new film , Saw X was greenlit and is in active development with Lionsgate studios releasing and Twisted image producing . This is rather presumptuous , especially since they do n’t do it how the young film will vibrate with modern audiences .

Directed by Darren Lynn Bousman , Spiralis the ninth film in the Saw franchise where Ezekiel “ Zeke ” Banks ( Rock ) strain to be up to his father Marcus Banks ’ ( Jackson ) reputation . Zeke is the point police detective tracking a serial of slaying that are spookily alike to the Jigsaw slayings . He and his greenhorn mate William ( The Handmaid ’s Tale’sMax Minghella ) remember they have all the correct lead to solving the case , but in conversant Saw manner , they find themselves in the crosshairs of the killer and his twisted game of death .
