Um , is there any point to seek to recap last night ’s Venture Bros. ? Are there really any wrangle that fetch the brilliant plotting , redaction , and dialog that allowed the impossibly intricate episode to leap from time to metre , from scene to scene , and character to character with no warning , but persist utterly clear and understandable , but also entirely uproarious ?
I would posit there is not , but I can at least tell you what pass off on the judgement - bogglingly complex “ O.S.I. Love You , ” which was made some major changes in the Venture Bros. universe , specially for the Venture ’s dear ex-husband - bodyguard Brock . He lead a team of O.S.I. agents ( who are really dig into the G.I. Joe joke , to my infinite entertainment ) to capture Molotov Cocktease and Monstroso , who of course survived last season ’s conclusion . That they do to do this with proportional ease should indicate there are more troubles ahead ( although Brock did have to catch the two fuck during the attack ) .
split second - forward 12 hour to the present , where three government agents seemingly dethaw from the ‘ 30s or ‘ 40 ( not literally ; I understand I postulate to dispose that during a VB review , I just mean they call women things like “ chippy ” and so forth ) to understand the “ clusterfudge ” that occurred between now and then . The little interpretation ? Monstroso vanish , and Molotov died , while taking out several O.S.I. agents and very nearly the helicarrier .
But none of that is wholly true , although Brock and Hunter Gathers do n’t share that with the agent . As Monstroso completely gives up the good on the Guild — the nature of the Sovereign , the Council , and the fact that the Investors are potential to down him any moment — the Investors do arrive and literally press him through the wall of the Helicarrier to drop 20,000 or so feet to the ground , in a way that Brock could n’t see ; to him , Monstroso disappeared in thin air .
Meanwhile , Molotov uses her acquirement ( and a hairpin she hold in her empty eye socket ) to escape her cellphone ; she hunt amuck through the chopper , killing a number of delightfully wacky O.S.I. federal agent . Of course , Doc Venture , Sgt . Hatred and Hank and Dean are on board , as Hatred is perplex his breasts removed . This means that Hank , who is still wearing the Countess ’ Strength Suit from SPHINX , takes it upon himself to bewitch Molotov , which lead in her directly consume the Strength Suit for herself .
Now first-rate - powered , the only person who can break Molotov is Brock , who manages to do so ( after getting thrown from the helicarrier , rescued by HELPeR in the X-1 , and then making out with Molotov Spider - Man style for a bit . Just as he ’s about to discard her unconscious body in one of the Helicarrier ’s turbines , Col . Gathers run out and demand he stop !
As it turn out , Gathers has hired Molotov to be a bivalent agent — and her first mission was to escape the Helicarrier , reveal the holes in their surety , and murder whatever remaining duple - agent OSI had left in the appendage while looking like she was just kill them in her escape cock attempt . Brock does n’t trust her at all , but an order ’s an order — which signify once Gathers set up a security camera , Brock tosses the empty Strength Suit in the turbine , appearing to all concerned that he has indeed killed her .
The three government agents are n’t happy to see about all this ( and they ’d be dysphoric if they get laid Molotov was still live ) , but they will … only for the same three agents to seemingly come back a few minute after , exact to just arrive . And as the first three agents take the air forth , their come glowing cerise pinstripe , they ’re revealed to be the Investors , and the phase out of the building . And now they know everything that O.S.I. knows … almost .
Guys , I ca n’t distinguish you how awing this episode was , just in its gauze-like construction . It was enormously complex , but it was still quartz glass light what was going on , and when , and it used this to build on the dialogue of other scenes in a manner that was hilarious without sacrificing clarity . It was just phenomenal . in truth , I think The Venture Bros. is as fantastic as it has ever been .

• In a just humanity , the O.S.I. would have their own action figure line . Maybe Bif Bang Pow can do an SDCC exclusive plurality at some detail ?
