“Also, on the subject of diapers… elimination communication is wild. Never really tried it with the other two kids, but I’ve sat Ernest on a little potty about a dozen times after he wakes up and every single time, he’s peed immediately and usually poops too,” she shared, along with photos of Ernest on his little potty while nursing.
“I always thought it was just coincidence when I heard other people talking about getting their infant to go on a potty. But no — I don’t know how to explain it, but it’s like he knows — right away when I undress him and put the little potty underneath, he starts going.”

Fans replied to Martinez’s story claiming that the cold is what cues the infant to go potty rather than the infant cueing the need to go. She also went on to share a comment theorizing that having babies in diapers may make it harder to potty train them when parents decide the time has come.
Martinez also shares son Franklin James, 2, and daughterRuth Ray De La Luz, 4, with fiancé Grayston Leonard.
After welcoming her second child, Martinez answered fan questions on Instagram, when she recalled the initial struggle inbecoming pregnant at the early stages of her relationship, describing the time as “so f—ing hard.”
“Wanted to break up a million times. it sucked,” she wrote at the time. “I felt guilty for wanting to end the pregnancy initially. i worried my child’s parents would hate each other. but we made it. and came out stronger than ever.”
