If a kooky neighbour had dribble by to rhapsodic applause from the studio hearing , I would not have been surprised .
Plus , for some rationality , the name “ Bob ” is comedy gold . Every fourth dimension someone called Cat ’s FBI pa “ Bob , ” I laughed .
If every dramatic euphony vanquish in this episode had been replaced with asad trombone , it really would have been more logical . At least farce are hypothesize to defy system of logic in favor of crazy coincidences . travesty also have a gumption of tension and speed , which this show is totally absent .

Meanwhile , her begetter ’s directing some new dude to make a new bomb for some Vincent - killing . With all the calls Bob ’s pickings , I half expect him to incidentally vitiate the society to kill Vincent to Cat , and then mug into the television camera .
Cat and Vincent even end up secernate Bob that they ’re asking about Beasts “ for a acquaintance . ” severely . They also have a computer code word so that Vincent can tell apart Cat if her don ’s lying . It ’s pumpkin . He literally sits there while Cat has a tense conversation with her father and looks for reason to say “ pumpkin ” or “ not pumpkin . ” His pumpkin dilemma beats work on right smart better than the say tenseness of Cat inadvertently speak to the man who has been ordering her beau to kill people .

There ’s even the received comedy cliche of the Dad warn the beau off . Only Bob tells Vincent that he ’ll give him his coach ’s name ( “ handler ” in this typesetter’s case being code for “ trap ” ) if he leaves Cat constantly .
Gabe then tells Tori that they have to stay for dinner . Bob basically play like he ’s a racist , and Cat brought home a beau who is every race but white . Vincent storms off and Tori flips the board like she ’s on the Real Housewives .
And THEN it turns out that distaff Beast Tori ’s giving out all sorts of sexy pheromone for Vincent , and she buss him in the forest .

I swear to god , Vincent actually says , “ For the record , SHE kissed ME . ” I do n’t think he begin with “ It ’s not what it looked like ! ” or said , “ We were on a interruption ! ” but I would not have been surprised . And again , funny would have redeem this from stunned .
In the bacillus plot , Tess has ditched her family need her why she ’s not go out in favor of help J.T. figure out who Vincent ’s manager is . They drink a lot of beer , eat pizza pie , and heed to Bob ’s distorted vocalism on loop . Tess talk about how she ’s too restrain to see a man , and then she and J.T. kiss . He tries to walk it back , but then she turn in a parentage so confound , the pitiful trombone has to hand the truncheon to the criminal record dough : “ If I did n’t want you to buss me , you would n’t have , because I am intimidating . ”

Well , six of one , half a XII of the other . He tell apart Vincent that his handler ’s an ex - FBI agent who is on his agency to obliterate Tori . Vincent races off to Tori ’s .
Gabe and Cat try church bells and figure out that Bob ’s the handler . But it ’s too recent , and Vincent ’s find Tori bound and gag at her place and tripped the turkey .
Yeah , this is the record scratch . The sad trombone ’s turn down to hail out . He say he ’s too commonplace . Therimshotsays he ’ll have a go , though . Ba - dum - tsh .
This is pointless . There ’s no way , no matter how hard I wish , that Vincent ’s actually dead . likewise , Cat actually has a second of self - cognisance where she tells Vincent that she ’s tired of making excuses for his behavior . We all are , but that ’ll disappear when she finds out about the explosion . Next installment , she ’ll rush to his side , suddenly completely okay with the “ pheromone made me rip a guy ’s bosom out / choke your Padre / kiss another woman ” exculpation .
There ’s so little connective tissue between scenes , it just seems to be just startle around between plot of ground full point . A whole episode could have been made from the uncomfortable Thanksgiving dinner party , but if you blinked , you ’d omit it . And plain the writer have confused “ tenseness ” with “ pausing , ” because there ’s a lot of dead air . Ponderous muteness that might be imply to be significant , but really just kills any endeavour at momentum dead . I lose numeration of how many times I checked my watch , only to groan because I thought at least five second had exit and it had only been one . Again , at least as a comedy it would have foot the pace up a short .
As a side note , what on Earth has paid for Bob ’s theatre ? He mentioned all episode letting “ the staff ” have the day off . Is he old money ? Because there is no way his government earnings at the FBI devote for an estate in Montauk . And it ’s get to have a reasonable explanation , because if he ’s just being handsomely paid to murder people , he ’d be hiding the money comfortably . Well , maybe he would n’t . That would make sense .
I really desire that explosion in reality ripped a hole in the fabric of this show ’s reality and destroyed it . Or maybe caused it to end and restart as a better show .
