The pair were photographed from behind while waiting for a ride.
A video from their excursion shows the pop star, 30, and the Tony nominee, 31, spending time with friends and enjoying a tour from a theme park guide.
“They went with a big group of friends as well her mom and brother," a source exclusively tells PEOPLE, adding that they are “really happy and really good for each other.
“All of her friends love him,” the source said of Slater.
In early September,PEOPLE reportedthat Grande and Slater’s relationship was still going strong and has been “much different than what has been portrayed.”
“While this entire situation has been blown out of proportion, it’s much different than what has been portrayed in public,” a friend of the couple told PEOPLE.
“They are just trying to navigate their new relationship in private,” the source continued.
“People have tried to question the timeline,” a close family friend said of the relationship between Grande and Slater, who were friends and costars before they began dating.
The pair’s romance started afterGrande’s separationfrom her husbandDalton GomezandSlater’s separationfrom his wife Lilly Jay. “The truth is, Ariana and Ethan didn’t begin seeing each other until after both parties were separated, respectfully,” continues the close family friend.
An additional source close to the situation told PEOPLE that the couple “are doing their best to balance the fact that they are in the public eye with the desire to be respectful to all parties involved.”

News of their relationship broke just days after PEOPLE confirmed that the “7 Rings” singer split fromher husband,Dalton Gomez.
“Ariana and Dalton separatedin January,” a source told PEOPLE. “She and Ethan recently began dating.”
Slater is alsoseparated from his wife, Lilly Jay with whom he shares a 1-year-old son.
