This claim of 200MP is telling , but slightly misleading . The H4D-200MS actually transport with a 50 megapixel sensor and use multi - shot engineering to give rise a 200MP image . A piezoelectric motor slightly moves the sensing element while the camera takes six images of a setting . It takes about 30 seconds to capture and stitch the six pictures into a 600 MB , 200MP range of a function . The result is this arresting example of a lookout captured by Jonathan Beer .
