Ridley Scott and Lynda Obst have had the right to adapt Richard Preston ’s nonfiction best - seller The Hot Zone for two decades . And now that it ’s a timely attribute again , it ’ll be a miniseries for Fox .

He ’s been working with Obst and Scott on the miniseries , and they ’re in conversation to option the raw clause and add it to their adaptation .

Q. There are reports that “ The Hot Zone ” is being develop into a television set series for Fox . Will it be establish on the book and the earlier irruption you cover , or the current crisis ?
