As of this weekend , SAG - AFTRA will have been striking for 100 day , one of the longest in the uniting ’s history . On October 19 , the uniting released astatementto its members foreground how it ’s been “ united in our pursuit of Department of Justice , fairness , and the note value we bring to the industry . [ … ] The AMPTP continues to seek to sow partition amongst us , misrepresenting our proposals and trying to manipulate public sentiment . Yet , even as they take the air away , we all remain unswerving , refusing to be swayed by anything less than what we truly deserve . ”
